Fundraiser for the Lints Family

As many of you may already know, longtime Kearsley teacher Scott Lints was recently diagnosed with stage 2 tongue and throat cancer. He is undergoing surgery May 6 and will be in the hospital a minimum of 10-15 days, followed by chemo and radiation five times a week for six weeks. He and his wife, Kearsley grad Leandra (Harvey) Lints, have four kids ages 4-17. Needless to say, they have a long road ahead of them and their lives are going to change dramatically.

Fortunately, most medical expenses are covered by insurance, but one added expense that will not be covered is gas and travel. They have to drive to Detroit for chemo five times a week which will necessitate a lot of fueling up.

If you would like to help them out, we are asking for a donation of any amount to help offset the travel expenses they will be incurring. They will be so grateful for this and very appreciative of the support we show them. If we could have all donations in by May 28 before he starts his chemo, that would be wonderful.
