As most of you know by now we lost one of the most amazing, caring, loving, wonderful, compassionate, funny, thoughtful, women that all of us have had the privilege of having in our lives. Our beloved Naomi(Nomi) Dingman passed away on Friday, May 2nd, 2014 after a brief decline in her health. If you weren't lucky enough to have known her personally; I can almost guarantee that you have heard wonderful things about her. Nomi was one of a kind, one of those people that would do absolutely anything for anyone that she loved. One of those people that you could call no matter what time of day. She was one of those people that were just always there.
Naomi was a loving wife, a daughter, a sister, a cousin, an aunt, a friend or even an adopted mother to more people than could ever be counted. To say that she will be missed would be an understatement. Her time with us was not long enough, however she sure made sure to leave an impact on all of us and in our community that will last a lifetime.
When I think of Naomi, the first person I think of is Al, her handsome loving husband who loved her more than words could ever explain. They were best friends, soul mates, and each others other half(It was extremely rare to ever see them apart). Whether it was at the VFW, grocery shopping at Market Basket, camping, driving around Swanzey chances are they were together. When I think of Al & Naomi the first thing that comes to mind is two hearts of gold, two people that truly cared about the people in their lives.
While we all begin to grieve in our own separate ways we need to first help Al, we need to show him our support and show him and her family how much she meant to all of us. This fundraiser was created solely to help Al, help lessen the burden of the funeral expenses and the never ending medical expenses so that he too can begin to grieve. Unfortunately Naomi did not have medical insurance or life insurance so together we will have to help him.
While you may not be able to financially make a donation, all I ask is that you help to spread the word and to say a prayer for everyone that currently has a hole in their heart by the loss of such an incredibly beautiful women.
We may have all lost Naomi but I'm a strong believer that we all gained one hell of an angel at the same time.
