Hello, my name is Casey Beck and I am creating this gofundme page on behalf of a beautiful young mother and my best friend, Summer and the little boys father Jubal, she is like a sister to me. On Friday, May 11th the Lord took her baby boy, Blaize, who was only 7 months old home to be with him.
Jubal had taken him to a local hospital early on Friday for emergency medical treatment for what seemed to be a bad cold, fever and lack of appetite. The doctors sent them home! A few hours later Summer rushed her baby boy back to the same hospital…..he was having trouble breathing! Blaize was then life flighted to the children's hospital where he died shortly after they arrived. Summer’s baby was gone and no one knew why! Her world taken from her!
Later the doctors explained that Blaize had meningitis. I cry as I write this because I am still in disbelief that this is even reality right now. Summer never had the Mother’s Day we just celebrated. Instead, this beautiful, single mother who’s world revolved around her little boy, is facing the heartbreaking task of making funeral arrangements with almost not allot of people to support her emotionally or financially. So we need your help please!
Summer was just starting back to work after spending most of the last 7 months being a new mommy and loving her time with her little man. For a while we lost touch with Summer and feared the worst but she is safe now and trying so hard to just make it through this one second at a time.
I have created this account on behave of Summer and Jubal in memory of their beautiful little boy to help pay for funeral expenses, medical bills and make things a little easier.
Summer and jubal are very strong and by the grace of God and the love of friends we know they will find their way through this unimaginable loss.
The pain of losing a child never goes away and never makes sense but there is peace in knowing that Blaize is not suffering or sick anymore and will be waiting in heaven for him mommy and daddy!
As I tuck my little boy in bed at night I am reminded of what a special gift each child is! I hold him tighter, kiss him gently then watch him sleep, tears rolling down my face as I too try to deal with the loss of my little Godson.
