Hi Everyone! My name is Susie and I need your help!
I returned home from a year abroad teaching English in Kyoto, Japan (that's me in the pink wig with my students) and have found an amazing opportunity that will help me move forward in my life and make a positive impact on the world.
About myself: I am a San Diego native with a BA in Anthropology. I love differen cultures and I love children. I will be pursuing a MA degree in Internatioanl Education next year. I also hope to volunteer on the Japan-based Peace Boat in this coming November and strive to make a postive impact on the lives of people and children everywhere.
Since returning home, a number of traumatic incidents have happened in my life. I suffered from extreme culture shock. My grandmother passed away. I lost my job. My great aunt passed away. And I've been experiencing extreme depression, feeling helpless to get out of it and be that light and loving person that I truly am.
My Pourpose: I've found a great opportunity for personal growth and professional breakthroughs that has changed so many people lives, including many of those close to me. The course teaches you tools to personal discovery and growth and supports you as you implement those changes in your everyday life, achieving goals that you set for yourself and follow through on. My goals include changing the world, studying different cultures, developing educational structures that can be utilized all over the world, teaching children about the power of love, confidence, and responsibility.
This course the intensive 100 day "Personal Development and Leadership" course at Choice Center. I am 100% dedicated to completing this program! I am asking for help in paying my tuition. I have already registered and paid the $300 non-refundable deposit. I am selling my old school books on Half.com and will be having bake sales as well. I'm also up for babysitting, walking people's dogs, washing their cars, etc. But it's not enough. I'm only asking for help with raising $1,000, which is less than half of the full tuition. I would be so greatlful for anyone who would be willing to give to my cause and help support me in reaching my goal to change myself and change the world, one person at a time! Thank you everyone!
