Dear Friends & Family,
As many of you know for the past two years I have been blessed to participate in the Misión Joven Dominicana - Service Mission Trip to Cabarete, DR
I am hoping to attend the 2019 March trip and really need your support to make it happen!
On the mission trip we work on housing, education and health.
*Building Homes with and for families in need
*Working in schools with teachers on curriculum development and bringing school supplies
*Setting up medical and dental health clinics
This year I plan to connect my Si, Se Puede program youth to the youth I work with in the schools in DR by implementing the Andover Bread Loaf creative writing techniques. Through poetry, drama, writing, photography and the use of technology I hope to create communication among the youth so that they can share each others life experiences and have a cultural exchange. I also hope to create care packages to and from the youth from both countries.
This is a very special project for me and as I always say "it takes a village".
As my tribe, I am sincerely most grateful for your support as I absolutely cannot do it without you!
