Dear family & friends,
As some of you know by now, our dear, sweet Rachel is battling cancer again. This horrible disease has spread to her lungs and is now considered stage 4. This means new treatments; some covered by insurance and some not so much, and some, not covered at all. Rachel is so strong though, with such a strong faith; we believe she will beat this. We, as her family and her dear friends are standing strong along side Rachel, to do what we can to make sure she wins this fight. Will you stand with us?
I ask everyone reading this for two things. Remember Rachel in your daily prayers and ask God for a complete healing for her. Second, if you can please donate whatever is comfortable on a monthly basis to help cover some of the many costs of the various medicines and treatments. We are doing everything we can as a family. However, the costs are just too high for a family with limited means.
As my dear mom used to say, “many hands make light work.” If several of you reading this would commit to a few dollars a month to help cover these costs, it would help so much. By doing so, it would not be too big a burden on any one person/family, yet it would mean the world to Rachel. Some of you might be able to give $10.00 a month by giving up a Starbucks cup of coffee once a week. Some might be able to give $20.00 a month by not going to lunch a couple times a month. Others might commit to $30.00 a month by giving up going to dinner once a month to help Rachel. Whatever God lays on your heart to donate would be so greatly appreciated. I know that by not having to worry about the huge costs of these treatments, it would be a load off Rachel’s mind as she fights this fight.
Thank you for all your prayers and support. We are truly blessed by God with a wonderful family and the best friends. You’ll never know what each of you mean to us. Through all this, we will daily give God the glory and praise him for his many blessings. Without a doubt, one of the greatest blessings from God to me is my daughter, Rachel.
