Darlene’s journey

I’m sure most of you know that my mom Darlene Sutherland was diagnosed with cervical cancer in June. She does so much for me and my brothers, she’s has been through a lot this year already with my brother Brody going through a major surgery.  She also goes out of her way to do fundraisers with all of your support to send myself and my brother Kenzie to Vermont and Maine to give Kenzie the best opportunities he can get for his hockey career. Right now mom is on her 2nd week of treatment and is feeling good right now, she has 4 more weeks of external radiation and chemo in Sydney where she has to travel Monday-Friday. Once that is done she has to travel to Halifax for two weeks after for brachytherapy which is internal radiation. The doctors have told her that once treatments are done she will feel worse then during the treatments. Me and my brothers would like to raise this money to take away the stress of travel fees, bills and medical expenses. Thanks for all of your support!
