Uganda Mission Trip 2014

After months of feeling a tug on my heart to go back to Uganda, I have been invited to go! My aim will be to offer encouragement to the ministry of my friends, the Pierces, who are currently involved in reaching out to men, women and children in this impoverished and disease stricken country with the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
One opportunity, will be to once again, teach in the women's prison. If you remember from my past experience, this time is always so special and the Lord has moved mightily. I cant wait to see the faces of those women again. In the last few months, the Lord has laid words on my heart I long to share with them. Also, we will work in the villages, both locally and out in the bush, teaching the people Gods Word and sharing the Good News of the Gospel message. I look forward to reconnecting with the women that I taught and built relationships with previously in my prior trips to Uganda.
For the last year, my husband and I have supported a young girl through Compassion International. Each month or so, we exchange letters and learn about one another. I know my money is not only going to fund her education, but can feel a connection from afar, and pray the Lord is using me to teach her more about Himself. I might have the opportunity to meet her while I'm there and am SO excited about this!
In addition to prayer support, I will need financial support. My first prayer concern, is that the window for raising support is SHORT. I hope to book my ticket within the next couple of weeks so that I can leave by the first part of June. I'm trusting God to provide the needed funds through like-minded people. I ask that, with this trip, you would join me (again) in sending me. I will need $3500 to pay for the trip. Would you consider supporting me?
