Samson’s Medical Bills

My soul mate is really sick.

What we thought was a respiratory infection has now been diagnosed as a spontaneous pneumothorax. Right now we don’t know the cause but could potentially be lung disease or cancer as the worst case scenario. He is currently at the hospital (VSS), with an IV catheter, trying to remove the air in his chest cavity so he can breathe properly. He will be there for a few days in hopes that the leak will heal on its own and he won’t have to have a very expensive diagnostic surgery. The surgery will tell us what is really going with Sam’s lungs. This fund is for that procedure and any costs that come our way. The vet gave me an initial estimate of around $7,500. Since I didn’t have that cash at the time of admitting him, we decided to try a less invasive route in the meantime, to see if it will heal on its own. Any amount will truly help! If you know Sam, you know he is so special. I’m not ready to lose my best pal. Any additional funds will be donated to local rescues and shelters.
