Carmela Dacunto's fight against bre

Our dear friend Carmela Dacunto was first diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer back in 2014. Carmela underwent a double mastectomy and rigorous treatment of chemotherapy and radiation. Once again the cancer returned in December of 2015, this time in her chest wall. Carmela had to undergo more surgeries and intense treatment. Unfortunately cancer has no remorse and it has returned yet again, this time spreading to her spine. Carmela is a loving wife to her husband John Dacunto . She and John are raising four amazing children. Through this fight Carmela continues to remain positive. She has a smile that lights up the room. To know her is to love her! At this time her doctors have suggested that she try a treatment called Immune Therapy. Unfortunately this treatment is not covered by health insurance.
