Larry Samford's Memorial Fund

This page is to celebrate the life of Larry "Cowboy" Samford. He passed away on Sunday, May 4th. He was returning from a SCR Regional Meeting of his beloved VIET NAM VETS/LEGACY VETS Motorcycle Club and had an accident on the highway in Oklahoma. He was doing one of the things he loved most...riding his bike. We have set up this fund to help his family cover funeral and burial costs as Larry did not have life insurance.

Larry was a great son, brother, husband, father, step-father,  grandfather, musician and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He loved his family, friends, singing and playing guitar, riding his motorcycle and joining the VNV/LV MC  (Motorcycle Club) recently was one of his happiest times. He was an amazing "Pop Pop" and "Grandpa Larry" to his grandkids. Two of his greatest achievements are his two sons, Zack and Derek.  His wife Tracy was the love of his life and the two of them shared 13 wonderful years together.

Funeral arrangements are still being finalized and notice will be sent out as soon as something is confirmed, but the family is aiming for services near the end of the week at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Oak Cliff.

Any donations are greatly appreciated and will be put towards celebrating and remembering the life of a remarkable man.  The VNV/LV MC has already started collecting donations throughout the Texas Chapter "E" and the nation the family is beyond grateful. The family thanks you in advance for your help.
