I was diagnosed with an invasive glioma in mid March of 2020, one week later I had a craniotomy to remove the brain tumor. The Pathology came back as cancerous, Astrocytoma grade II.

<div>My scans were stable for a litte while, but I've been told that the cancer is growing again from my most recent scan in June 2022.

<div>I'm exploring my treatment options, which will likely include another surgery, which means more bills, more time away from work, and another long recovery.

<div>Unfortunately brain cancer has a very high recurrance rate, and I've told that "stable" is the best I can hope for, there are no "cures" or "remission" for this.
</div>

<div>I hope that with ongoing treatment I will still have the opportunity to live a long life. My grandfather on my dad's side died from his brain cancer, but he still made it to 89.
