Our focus encompasses the regions of Luwero, Kakooge, Kalongo and Kalungi Nakasongola District- Uganda. This area is a dry cattle corridor (semi-desert) bordering the Congo where a long civil war at the hands of Joseph Kony continues to leave the people--particularly the children--in fear.
Our goal is to be able to accommodate EVERY child who is in need of shelter, schooling, and love--NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND in no uncertain terms. Most of the children in this region are affected--and working to overcome--a critical crisis of poverty, as well as the other effects of civil war. The primary health concerns are nutrition/malnourishment and a lack of safe drinking water. In fact, this place has never had safe drinking water in its history.
We are all about building and adding value to humanity as we work to end the needless suffering of the children living here. 100% of your donations will go to maintain the schools and orphanages here---NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL.
