a little help from my friends

I realize I'm more fortunate than most but even though I work full time, I am not able to make my full rent and utilities every month. I'm a single mother of a 15 year old boy. I lost my job after 16 years last May and with it lost my benefits and a somewhat comfortable salary for NYC. It took me 6 months to find something new but at a much lower salary and no benefits or paid time off. I'm asking for just a little to pay my landlady and utility bills. To be able to fill our refrigerator that has been empty a lot lately. I have amazing friends and family who have bought us groceries and fed us for almost a year now but they can't keep supporting us nor should they be responsible to.
