Volunteer Public Health in Kumasi, Ghana

For my senior and last summer as an undergraduate student, I am traveling abroad in hopes of seeing another part of the world and the health problems encountered there.  The University of Utah has a trip to Kumasi, Ghana, Africa for public health.  This opportunity is of tremendous value, however it also costs a tremendous amount.  That being said, I am trying to raise enough money to cover the cost of my ticket, visa, tuition, fees, vaccines, supplies, etc. needed for the trip.  
Being a college student doesn't allow me to work as much as I would like, but I have picked up a second job to try to work as much as possible. Vaccines, medications, doctor's appointments, supplies, etc. that are required for entry into the country are costly.  As such, I am reaching out and asking for help. Everything and anything will help.  I appreciate your time as well as your support in my educational endeavors.  Please help me make it to Africa. This will not only be my first study abroad experience, but my first time leaving the North American continent.
