The Davis Phoenix Coalition (DPC) is a local community-based organization currently fundraising to send members, along with Davis High youth interested in working to prevent hate, a 3-day leadership gathering in Billings Montana on June 20th 2014. Where this year the DPC's work in Davis has earned recognition as a model of sustainable and successful action to address intolerance and foster an atmosphere of inclusion for all.
The Not In Our Town National Leadership Gathering brings local leaders from around the country together for three amazing days of ideas, storytelling, multimedia, and action planning"”all focused on building safe, inclusive communities for everyone.
Your financial contribution will ensure that community engagement events like the DPC's April anti-bullying workshop held at Unitarian Universalist Church of Davis, and the upcoming free public film screening of The Laramie Project at the Veterans Memorial Center Theatre, will continue.
