Support for the Beyer family

Jen Beyer, her husband Brendan, and their 5 amazing children have needed our support these last few months - meals and companionship for their family have been invaluable as she has bravely and honestly struggled with severe postpartum depression and anxiety. However the situation has declined and while Jen gets the help she needs, Brendan is managing the household on his own with their children while their 2 income family has dropped to one as Jen as now been off of work for 5 months.....with the treatment she is currently receiving we are not expecting her to return to work until June.


That said, their unexpected lost income and several more months as a single income family as well as transportation and medical expenses for regular visits to Kansas City for care are becoming huge financial burdens.  Additionally, grocery bills and maintaining normalcy to provide for the older children's activities have become stressors as well. This family is so kind and giving - Jen and Brendan are wonderful friends to so many, and Jen has done so much for so many women over the years as a dedicated labor nurse who supports natural family living and gentle birth and parenting.
