Send Texas students to DC to compete!

Hi!  I'm a 2nd year teacher at Garland High School and a sponsor for the Technology Student Association chapter at our school.  Our kids placed 2nd, 5th, and 10th at State competition last month and are now eligible for Nationals this June in Washington, DC.

Right now we are doing everything we can to take all 12 with us (10 students, 1 alternate, 1 teacher).  The competition is from June 27-July 1.  We would like to stay through July 5 so that they can experience a true 4th of July in DC.  

We have done everything from doughnut sales, video game night, and a car wash (yesterday).  The kids are working hard and saving their quarters but we could still use a few angels to help these deserving students.  We've added a breakdown of wish list items. The student's families are working towards their plane tickets ($445 each).  I'm trying to see if we can help defray some of the costs for the other expenses.  

We plan to make sandwiches and eat pop tarts to help cut down on our eating out.  We also plan to take the Metro everywhere and visit everything we can that's free!  This will be a 9 day trip of a lifetime!  Please consider!
