Help Ben and Abe Make a Documentary

We've been asked to shoot a fifteen-minute documentary on the effects of climate change in India and surrounding countries. Ben's older sister, Abigail Blue, has done extensive research for her master's thesis on migration due to climate change in this area, and the documentary will provide her paper's visual support.
We will submit the film to various film festivals, in hopes it will raise awareness, accelerate clean water initiatives, and bring more humanitarian aid to climate change refugees in India.
The documentary will focus on current living conditions for families and individuals that are being forced by record monsoons and intense flooding, to find new shelter, food, clean water, work and education.
It is a dream of ours to work on documentary films together and we are very excited about this opportunity. Our work adventure is set to begin in June, 2014, during the height of monsoon season.

Abigail Blue
Abigail Blue is an international policy analyst, climate change and migration researcher, and political activist living on the Olympic Peninsula in the Pacific Northwest. She worked for three years, through SeaTrust Institute, with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, to bring human rights and migration to the heart of UN negotiations.

Abigail Blue
Abigail Blue is an international policy analyst, climate change and migration researcher, and political activist living on the Olympic Peninsula in the Pacific Northwest. She worked for three years, through SeaTrust Institute, with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, to bring human rights and migration to the heart of UN negotiations.
She successfully legislated for incarcerated women's civil rights while working as Executive Director of the Birth Attendants: Prison Doula Project to end shackling of pregnant women in Washington State prisons. She worked for more than ten years as a grant writer, advocate and political organizer for homeless communities through various Non-Profits in the NW.
Abigail is currently finishing her Master's in Public Policy Administration through the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. Her international policy work and thesis research has taken her to the Philippines, Ecuador, China, South Africa, India and Poland. This summer she is traveling with her family to India, Nepal and the Maldives to complete the quantitative portion of her thesis work on migrant communities in India. Her objective is to facilitate policy negotiations between the Indian and Bangladeshi governments to provide resources and human rights protections to an ever-growing population of Bangladeshi climate refugees displaced by climate disaster.

Benjamin Einhorn
Ben holds a BFA in motion Picture and Television Production and is a Bay Area based Cinematographer. He is further pursuing his career and passion of creating documentaries for humanitarian causes. Ben traveled to India last June and witnessed first hand the devastating effects of one of the worst Monsoons in recorded history. Now, his passion is to help bring clean water action to areas of India while helping the community thrive.

Abram Tannenbaum
Abe grew up with parents that were involved in the Hunger Project, donated to charities and always found ways to help other people and preserve nature. They led by example and instilled a desire in him to help the world sustain quality life. He graduated from Portland State University with a business degree and for one of his final projects, he helped a non-profit sell handmade African artwork to bring resources and art supplies to villages in Zimbabwe. He's passionate about working on projects that can make a positive impact.

Funding: The money raised through this campaign will be used for traveling expenses, equipment needed to shoot in harsh conditions, and post production.
