Max’s knee surgery

As some of you may know from my Facebook posts, my dog Max hurt his knee in September before Hurricane Irma. After going to the vet and getting x-rays, I’ve done everything I can to avoid surgery (bandage to let it heal, swimming, massage therapy, rest) and he still won’t use the leg. My vet is now saying surgery is the only option left for Max to ever be able to use the leg again. If I don’t do the surgery we run the risk of him blowing out the other knee and have two bad legs. Surgery, vet visits and rehab will cost somewhere around $4000. I am asking for help to cover the costs. Any little bit will help. For anyone who knows me you know how much my pets mean to me. Max is my baby. He’s my first dog I’ve owned on my own and has been with me for almost 10 years (since he was 8 weeks old). I’d like to give him the best chance possible to be with me for another 10. Again, anything helps. Thank you!
