Please Help Donna Read.

A very Dear friend is basically being forced to leave The United States. Her name is Donna Read.
She came to the U.S. back in the 80's from Canada. Legally. Somehow, paperwork concerning her immigration status was "lost" in the immigration department during the transition to digital record keeping. Now Homeland Security wants her to leave then start over. It was not her fault as it was an immigration screw up but yet now she is the one being punished for the Govt. mistakes.
Donna is a very sweet person. Going to college but yet now the Govt. is declining her funding for school also. Donna has NO criminal history and has been an upstanding citizen. With that being said, She was also a very large part of the fund raising for the Oso Landslide victims here in WA. State and always the first to help others without hesitation. A person that everyone would be honored to know.
There is a Facebook Page that was set up to try to help. "Friends of Donna Read" . We have even contacted our local news problem solver. King5 News "Get Jesse" to see if he could help in any way.
But Donna is looking down a dark path right now. But not giving up. I think the only thing that keeps her going is her love for photography and positive attitude.
She does not know I'm doing this right now. Donna is well known and loved in the Northwest Photography community as we are all rallying to try to help and keep her here in any way we can.
I know there must be many more people in the United States that are facing the same situation. If we can get it publicized and not only help Donna, but yet others as well.
Please find it in your heart to help in any way you can, we will truly lose a wonderful person that should be here unlike so many other undocumented immigrants.
