Carol Shaw has been a blessing to so many people. She was confident, kind, motivating, and empowering as an educator, a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and self-proclaimed goofball. The depth of Carol’s impact in our world has simply been extraordinary.
Carol has been happily married to Ron, who loved, honored, and cherished her every minute of every single day. Together, they have raised two bright and beautiful children, Alyssa (12) and Will (9), in a community they love. As a family, and within the communities they served/played/lived/visited, they battled every diagnosis, chemo treatment, successes, trials, blood transfusions, and doctors’ visits, while working, taking the kids to school, soccer practice, baseball tryouts, homework, and everything in between life throws at you. Together, they made it look effortless.
With Carol’s passing, the Shaw family will need our support. If you know Ron, he will make sure his kids are loved and taken care of, with or without support; that’s just who he is. But as a community that has been touched by the Shaw family, we ask you to help support the Shaw family. Carol loved life…loved people…and fiercely loved her husband and kids. Please help honor her last request of, “Take care of Ron. Take care of my kids,” with a financial donation that will be used towards eliminating any additional financial burdens Ron may face as a single father.
