Dear Friends and Family,
My name is 'Ashe and I am a ballet dancer. I have been dancing since I was around 3 or 4 years old. I have been on pointe for about two years. I am now 13 years old and becoming more and more serious about ballet.

I recently auditioned for and got into Dance Theatre of Harlem's summer intensive for young boys and girls aspiring to become ballet dancers. I have recieved a " Merit scholaship " for a portion of the tuition, but there are still alot of expenses to be paid. I need funds to cover new shoes, leotards, tights, housing, food, the rest of my tuition, and a plane ticket to Florida. There is another dance camp in Florida that I have been accepted to (Florida Dance Theatre). If I raise enough to go to both intensives then I will be able to grow tremendously as a dancer this summer.
