Helping an international student in need

Las Positas College in Livermore, CA has a thriving international student program. Because these students are from overseas and therefore do not pay taxes in California or the United States before coming here, the student and his/her family bear the entire cost of the education, which is far above what a California resident pays. One student from Nigeria has found himself in need after the latest terrorist attacks in his country that have disrupted his family and therefore his access to funds. He needs to pay off the remainder of this semester's tuition and have some funds to tide him over the summer. I am one of his instructors and he is a hard working and respectful young man making good grades in spite of the turmoil in his life. Any amount to help this young man is greatly appreciated.
