Qzar9999 and 11fifty present: The Incredible Shrinking Film Project!
This project will be a short film intended primarily as an attempt at doing a high-quality effect, much better than our previous work. We're even getting new costumes! :D There will be two different short segments, each with a different way of doing the effect. The plot will involve a photographer shrinking an unsuspecting model during a fashion shoot in the first segment, with her victim escaping and turning the tables on her in the second segment; it's based on the short story "Freeze Frame," written by qzar9999. The "rating" will be a soft R at most (that is, may possibly contain nudity, no sexual content).
Segment 1 will involve a highly detailed, lengthy process, with many camera cuts to show details of the process.
Segment 2 will be a continuous, single-take process. Using a hybrid editing process, the actress will shrink over several minutes during one take.
Funding goal: $600. This gets both segments made. DONE! Now we're working on...
Stretch goal: +$400. DONE! Every $400 over our original goal gets one additional video made, with different plots and effects, and different models.
London Calling: +$200. DONE. She'll be appearing in the main film.
Stretch goal #2: +$400. DONE! Bronze now gets an extra 2 clips, Silver gets an extra 4, and Gold+ gets an extra 5!
Stretch goal #3: +$400. DONE! Everyone now gets one more clip. And I have to eat a hat. :-/
Stretch goal #4: +$400.
Rewards:
$15 Bronze- preorder of the two-segment film, plus any stretch goal clips.
$25 Silver- preorder x 1.5. You get the original film, plus one bonus clip for every two segments. That is, if we make our goal, Bronze donors get the two-segment film, but you'll get one bonus clip. If we make the first stretch goal, Bronze gets three videos, but you get four. If we make four stretch goals, that would be six videos for Bronze and you'd get 9!
$50 Gold- Same reward as Silver, plus $20 credit in either of our clip stores, PLUS an exclusive bonus clip only offered at this level.
$75 Platinum- Same as Gold, plus qzar9999 will personally write you a 5,000-word story on a subject of your choice.
$100 Unobtanium- Same as Platinum, except it's a 10,000-word story and an extra $10 store credit.
