English Bluff Natural Playground

Our goal is build Tsawwassen's first Natural Playground

What is a Natural Playground?
If you have ever climbed trees and rocks, made forts or mud pies, dug in sand, jumped in leaves, you've experienced natural play.
Natural playgrounds involve the construction of innovative, environmentally sensitive play spaces.
They are discovery oriented, encouraging active imagination and inspired play.

Research says that Natural Play:
Contributes to overall physical, cognitive and emotional development
Help kids score higher on tests for concentration and self-discipline
Children exhibit less aggressive behavior, strive toward advanced motor fitness
Enhances student imagination

How YOU can help
We have been committed to raising funds for the playground through, grants, corporate contributions, fund raising events and now you can help us reach our goal by giving a monetary contribution. Any amount will be greatly treasured and appreciated!

We look forward to sharing our new Natural Playground with you and the community of Tsawwassen in the summer of 2018!
