Judy's New Beginning

Hello, This page is intended to help my mom.  Recently my mom has come about some bad luck.  My mom moved in with her mother about 6 years ago after her father passed away.  In doing so my mom had to leave behind her own life. In order to take care of her mother she put her entire life on hold.  She quit her great job and left her house and moved in.  As the years passed my nanas health worsened as did my moms quality of life.  My mom became less able to have any free time or even leave the house much at all.  It seemed like things couldnt get much worse for her.  However, recent storms in Pensacola proved otherwise.  The flooding rain that just came through Pensacola began to enter my mom and 89 year old bed ridden grandmothers home around midnight on 4/30.  Once she noticed the water she attempted to save pictures or anything she could. Caring for her mother who is in her final days under hospice care, bed ridden and unresponsive along with her 3 year old grandchild and keeping them safe became her priority.  My mom and grandma lost everything.  About 2 feet of water in the house and 5 feet outside.  The entire contents of the home and yard have been destroyed.  My mom also lost her vehicle.  We are thankful that a close family friend took in my grandma and mom to avoid placing my grandma into a nursing home for her final days.  Our big concern now is that my mom has no home, no car and no belongings so that she can rebuild her life once her mother does pass.  My mom is the woman who is always taking care of everyone and never takes care of herself.  Unfortunatley right now she can't do it on her own and our family needs help, prayer and support.  My mom has been through so many other tragedies in her life, too many for one person to endure. I worry she just can't take much more. My hope is that we can in some way begin to piece her life back together.  Please if anyone can donate supplies or send a donation it would be grealty appreciated. Anything is helpful.  She is my best friend and the most amazing lady I know.  Please help me and my family get my mom's life back together.  Thanks!
