The people of Texas need your help!
We need your help to get the great people of the Lone Star State the relief they so desperately need. We are a family-owned telecommunications integration company based in NYC and we have a lot of past experience providing and delivering relief for those affected by disasters - with the help of our family, friends, colleagues, clients and people we met along the way we were able to personally donate over $20,000 of relief items to those affected by Hurricane Katrina back in 2005 and again for Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
We need your help to make this happen!
We will be making a targeted, direct drop of 30,000lbs of non-perishable food, beverge and disaster relief supplies to provide much needed relief to the local communities and refugees from the hurricane. This community of people is NOT supported by FEMA or Red Cross and in desperate need of assistence.
We will be delivering to a small community center, church and/or other organizations like the Knights of Columbus, Lions Clubs, etc to help unload the cargo and distribute the much needed supplies and relief aid.
Relief items will include:
- Non-perishable food items
- Water
- Clothing (t-shirts, socks, etc.)
- Personal hygiene products (including feminine hygiene products, baby diapers, etc)
- Miscellaneous items (mosquito repellent, flashlights, etc.)
Shopping for relief items will be done in NY on Saturday Sept 2nd and will also be done on the road while traveling down to Texas. The Harvey Relief Team will be departing NY on Sunday Sept 3rd and will be driving two trucks down to the surrounding Houston area.
Any and All help with marketing, purchasing, travel and logistics will be greatly appreciated.
