This loving family recently returned from a vacation in Colorado, where cannabis use is legal for any person over the age of 21. The local police department claims they may have brought some contraband back to Texas from Colorado. Knowing this is total malarkey, the family chose to behave in the manner always recommended by activists. "I don't answer questions. I don't consent to any searches. My next step is to talk with my lawyer." Their local police department targeted them. A knock on their door sparked a change in their 'fight or flight' response. With small town police officers using effective scare tactics, vague threats, and unrelenting intimidation, the family reached a breaking point, as any family would. Feeling the pressure from the 'Gool 'Ol Boys Society' an immediate escape for refuge was the only decision to make. Currently in Colorado with only a carload of belongings, the family is asking for your assistance to establish a new home.
One may think that threats from local police, intimidation tactics, and kidnapping of pets would be enough to handle. To add insult to injury, a speeding, uninsured driver made the decision to take to the road. This decision lead to the total destruction of the family vehicle, a Toyota Prius.
Activism has been a strong hold for this family, and allows them to work together, in love, toward a mutual goal, and to help inspire others along the way.
