Brave the shave

10 year old Chloe, has been long awaiting a bone marrow transplant after a life long blood disorder that means her body does not create new red blood cells. This has resulted in over 100 blood transfusions and many years of searching for a bone marrow donor. well...the time is FINALLY here!

Due to the chemotherapy she will receive during the transplant, Chloe will lose her hair. It’s been a huge thing for Chloe, being so young and coming to terms with losing her hair. She has already had 17 inches cut off and donated it to the Little Princess Trust*. Now it’s my turn!


By shaving my head in solidarity with Chloe, I hope to raise awareness and funds for DKMS, a bone marrow register that has been a great help in finding a match for Chloe's transplant.
