A message from Jiamond Watson (John and Tia's daughter)
Since the age of 5,I have been in awe of the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater and their beautiful company dancers. For the 2nd time I have been offered a chance to study with the Ailey company but this summer I have the opportunity to dance on Ailey's stage as a participant in the Alvin Ailey Summer Dance Intensive.
In order for me to attend, I need your financial help that will allow me to live in New York this summer for 6 weeks for intensive dance training. If I get there, I promise I'll do my best. Of course I will be forever thankful if you can help me, but in addition I will surely give back to you 'in the dance.'
