I’m a single mom on disability, trying to do the best I can for my son. I don’t like asking for help but this is something that I just can’t do alone, and my son needs this surgery.

Kolby, a brave and bright young boy from Merritt, BC, has been diagnosed with a rare liver condition called Abernathy Malformation – affecting only 1 in 30,000 to 50,000 people.

He semi-urgently needs specialized surgery in Montreal, Quebec – a 45-hour journey from home.

‍‍‍ Our family will be driving across Canada and facing major expenses:

• Rental vehicles

• Gas and hotel stays along the way

• Groceries and meals on the road

• Accommodations in Montreal (we may be there for a month.)
