8th Grade Dance-Grad Party

VENUE: Thornbury Farm
TIME: 6-9 PM
We are hosting an 8th grade dance party for the 2021 graduating class of SMS. We are seeking to invite the entire class and avoid charging for tickets to cover costs. We could host a car wash, sell some candy, cheesecakes or wrapping paper ... but let's face it ... we would all just rather donate what we can and not buy the junk!! I can almost guarantee my kid won't wash your car that well (she doesn't know what carnuba is) and I certainly don't need another cheesecake ... quarantine has taught me that if nothing else.
This is your opportunity to contribute the cash needed to cover the venue, insurance, DJ, food and bottled water. If we hit our goal, we will look into a photo booth and some party favors. The more we collect here ... the less we will have to ask for on the Sign Up Genius .... you know it's coming your way people!
This is all to benefit our graduating 8th graders and offer them some normalcy that they have been missing this past year. If we exceed our goal or have money left over, it will be donated to the Class of 2025 Prom Fund in the fall. Give what you can ... no amount is too small or too big - size doesn't matter- "there was shrinkage!" ... ok it matters.
