Garfield

Garfield has unfortunately come down with a serious urinary infection and required emergency vet work to save his life. I will admit to being a proud person who tries to deal with everything on my own but I have to bite the bullet and say that I just have no capacity to meet these costs that came so unexpectedly. Only a few weeks ago, Garfield's big brother Smokey, whom was my companion for 18 years came down with a serious bowel infection and had to be put to sleep. His vet costs soared to $1000.00 after trying him on antibiotics and him recovering, only to end up passing away a few days after he got home. On top of this, I have rescued a dumped kitten and rehabilitated him as well as pay for vaccinations, neutering and worming and flea treatments. Shortly after Smokey passed away, I took on two foster cats that were in a dire situation and needed to be in a safe environment. Caring for four cats as well as the vet bill I was already paying, has meant that Garfield's unexpected vet expenses is far more than I can manage on my own. I don't often ask for help and usually like to just help others in need without question. But now I must ask for help. I am simply unable to meet these costs. Any and all help is very much appreciated and I am humbled and so appreciative of the support that I have already received.
