Medical Deductables and Monthly Bills

As most of you already know, within a 9 month period Cindy has been diagnosed three times with stage 4 cancer. It started in her nasal cavity & brain, then in her neck lymph nodes & now it's in her salivary gland, around her throat & collarbone. She's had two major head & neck surgeries and now she's going through 9 weeks of heavy chemo followed by her second round of 7 weeks of radiation (with chemo).

As you can imagine, this has been a financial hardship to say the least. Her medical bills are escalating due to some of her doctors & treatments being out of network. Then in April, her medical insurance was switched to Cobra which ended up being 6 times more then what she was originally paying. Her only source of income has been State Disability which ends this month and then she will be collecting Social Security Disability (which doesn't even cover her rent). The only financial assistance she's had has been from her mother & an organization at work called Wings.

We are hoping that we can all come together and help relieve some of the financial stress and worries so she can continue to stay positive and focus on beating cancer.
