Stevenson Family

As you may know, my brother Loren and his amazing family live in Friendswood. Loren is a League City police officer and his wife is a Zumba instructor in Friendswood. They are both caring and strong individuals in their community. On August 27, they had to be evacuated during hurricane Harvey. Without having time to pack, Jenny and her 2 boys evacuated and Loren and their oldest son unselfishly stayed to help others out of their homes. They unfortunately did not have time to pack and their family of 6 lost everything from clothes to their vehicles. Their oldest daughter lost a lot as well in another area in Friendswood.

Here is a video he sent out to family Sunday morning updating his status after a harrowing night spent helping the local Friendswood Police Chief rescue families that were stranded and in danger due to rising waters while his own family  was tryng to get to safe shelter.  We feel very blessed that all of our family members are alive and well.  Thank you so much for all your love, prayers and support as we deal with the aftermath of Harvey.
