PRINCESS DAY: Celebrating Little Girls of Color
Donation protected
The 10th Annual Princess Day: Celebrating Little Girls of Color is a community-funded summer event for girls ages 4-10. It is the only event of its kind held in Boston
Initially conceived by performing artist Valerie Stephens as a gift to her nieces, Princess Day is a free party for little girls of color. We said, “You are a Princess just the way you are!” And they came dressed from tutus, leggings, Wonder Woman costumes to full princess attire, filling the Gertrude Howes Park with laughter and joy. What started out as Princess Party for 30 has blossomed into an event for over 100 beautiful princesses and their families.
This year, with your help, the princesses will enjoy a wonderful afternoon of Princess Crown making and Sash Making, Face Painting, Live Performances, Healthy Snacks, Dancing, Princess Throne Room, Free Books and so much more. Sheer Fun!
