Charity Challenge
On the 9th June, local Geordies Semy and Omair will be taking on the enormous task of cycling 250 miles from London, UK to Paris, France! This will take place at the start of the summer when the heat will be at its peek, and riders will be averaging 60 miles a day for 4 long days! All to raise money for water projects in Bangladesh and Niger!
The Cause
We will be helping provide water to those people who cannot afford it, have to undertake long journeys to retrieve it and mainly those people who just don't have access to it. We will also be providing water sanitation to those people who only have access to unclean water facilities.
It is important that we we gain YOUR support and together benefit the needy. With your donation, big or small we can help provide the above for our brothers and sisters who are suffering from a lack of Water supplies and Clean Water Sanitation.
PLEASE Sponsor us with whatever you can whether it is £5, £7.34, £10, £20 or help raise £200 amongst family and friends to build a whole well that will provide clean water for 5 FAMILIES! OR a £600 Well which can cater for a community of 25 FAMILIES!
One who donates the full amount for a well (£200 or £600) may have their name or family name written on their well. You can even sponsor a well for a deceased family member. Remember giving in this cause is a Sadaqah Jariya (On going charity for life!)
