Hello friends and family,
It’s time to rally again for the Bulger family. It has become apparent that Cameron is in the fight for his life. Cameron is one of the most caring, courageous 8 year old boys I have ever met. In February of 2018 he was diagnosed with brain cancer. He spent 9 months fighting for his life through chemo, photon therapy and many other supports.
The Bulger’s had just started settling back into life. Cameron looked good and was his fun, playful self again. They were just starting to enjoy their new normal they had worked so hard to create after his first battle. In August 2019 they were met with the most devastating news, Cameron’s cancer had returned. Cameron’s relapse hit them hard. The brain tumour was back and it was “infiltrative”. The treatment options they have been given are not curative. They are in need of a God sized miracle.
On Cameron’s Wish Trip to Florida a couple weeks ago they started to see mild facial changes in Cameron. The oncology team confirmed shortly after they came back through MRI, that there had been another significant growth in his tumor. The growing tumor is pushing on several cranial nerves and pinching his ventricles, which is what is causing the symptoms they are seeing.
In the past few days Cameron’s left arm is now fully unusable, his left leg is so weak that his foot drags behind him when he walks. In addition his speech has also started to show signs of stumbling.
He is requiring 24 hour care at this point. As you can imagine this has taken a major emotional toll on the family.
We are starting this campaign in hopes that we can pull together and ease any financial burden on the family at this time, so that they can focus on each other. Any support is very much appreciated.
