Jennifer Needs Our Help!!!

My name is Christine Bacon, I am the President of Cherished Cockers Rescue. Jenn has been a foster for us going on 7 years now. She does so much for the dogs, the rescue, adopters, you name it, she is always there for people!!!

Now she needs US!! She isn’t the type to ask for help, she has always worked and took care of herself. She has worked her whole life!! Always helping others!!!

Here is the current situation with Jenn, My HEAART Goes OUT to her.....

I would like to take a moment to inform you of a situation with one of our Fosters Jenn Ersek. Jenn has been a HUGE part of Cherished Cockers for many years now. She has provided a foster HOME, LOVE, Care, Etc, etc, etc… for SO many dogs in NEED!! ALWAYS paying for things on her own, paying for outfits, leashes, treats, beds, crates, many things over the years, and never asked a penny for anything from the Rescue in Return. She also put Wish-Lists together many times to bring in items that the dogs needed from donors; just so many things this girl did for the dogs in her care!!! We have been so blessed to have her as part of our team!!

For over a year now, Jenn has been out of work due to poor health. When I say poor health, I mean diagnosis after diagnosis, things that are crippling!! She is unable to work and is currently struggling with the SS Disability Red Tape!! Denial after Denial, meanwhile trying to survive financially. She had some reserve for a few months and tried doing odd jobs like dog sitting for people on vacation, things she could do at home for some extra income. She cannot work physically, without going into too much detail, she has auto immune disease, Lupus, BP, Kidney Failure and heart issues ,reactions from medications just to name a few; just a plague of things. Ive never seen one person get hit with so much! She is being told by her disability attorney that if she takes any job at all, she will ruin her chances of being approved for Disability. It’s hard to imagine what she has been going through. Mentally she has been staying strong, keeping up with foster dogs (she says fostering is all she has right now), “to stop doing it, would be devastating!!” she says. She has fallen so far behind on bills, utility bills, mortgage, having basic care needs for herself, the list goes on. She is now faced with a foreclosure notice. My husband and I have helped her when we could, and she has been so appreciative, however she is now in a very bad place financially, physically and mentally. I have been getting more and more worried about her, and now this is where I have found myself. I MUST TRY TO HELP!! I’m putting a Go-FUND ME together for her. PLEASE NO NEGATIVE comments. If you don’t agree with it, that’s OK, just pass on by and offer up prayers or send her a thinking of you card. I feel a GREAT NEED to reach out here, SO please if you can, DONATE to this cause.
