Nathan's Camp Starfish Fund

Our son, Nathan, has been a member of our family for over three years.  We adopted him from China when he was 9 years old. As some of you know, he struggles with things most of us do not: hearing loss, trauma from his past, learning and language difficulties, and establishing healthy relationships with others. We have been searching for ways to help him, in hopes that someday our boy will enjoy as close to a "normal" life as possible. Camp Starfish is a therapeutic, traditional, outdoor camp in New Hampshire with a 1:1 camper:counselor ratio that helps kids like our Nathan develop life skills and friendships. Here is a link to their website if you would like to know more about their programs:http://www.campstarfish.org/  He has been accepted into their 19 day camp in July, but we need to come up with the $5000 it costs to send him there.  As a one-income family of 11, including several children with either medical or special needs (or both!), luxuries like summer camp have never been in our budget.  We would love to give our son this opportunity, but need your help.
