The Mill Run Elementary School Odyssey of the Mind Team is going to the World Finals!
The team of six fifth-graders from Mill Run Elementary School recently took second place at the Odyssey of the Mind State Tournament in Rocky Mount, VA and received an invite to go to the World Finals in Ames, IA, which takes place May 28-31. This is the first time that a Mill Run ES team has ever gone on to the World Finals, and we need your help.
At the World Finals, the team will present their creative eight-minute skit and will test their quick-thinking skills as they compete against teams from across the country and around the world. This is an amazing opportunity, but it's also one that will cost each team member and coach more than $1,000. Will you consider making a donation to the Mill Run team?

Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They then bring their solutions to competition on the local, state, and world level. Thousands of teams from throughout the U.S. and from about 25 other countries participate in the program.
