Desde entonces, cada día se ha vuelto un reto: el dolor constante, los síntomas que no le dan descanso y la incertidumbre de todo lo que viene. A pesar de todo, Aarón sigue de pie, luchando con una fuerza increíble y profundamente admirable.

<div>Después de varios estudios, le indicaron que necesita una cirugía mayor llamada hemicolectomía radical, donde le retirarán una parte importante del colon y los ganglios linfáticos comprometidos. Es un procedimiento delicado, necesario y seguido de una recuperación demandante, pero vital para evitar que la enfermedad avance más.

<div>La verdad es que el proceso no solo ha sido emocionalmente pesado: también ha sido económicamente abrumador. Aunque el seguro del trabajo cubre una parte importante, no es suficiente. Entre consultas, estudios, medicamentos, preparación para la cirugía y lo que vendrá después, los gastos que no están contemplados se han ido acumulando más de lo que imaginábamos.
