Recovery is a long road, help bridge his path.

Donation protected
Update for Craig, he’s been home for almost a few weeks. If your tracking his Strava you know he’s been working hard. Short walks, working on his endurance and doing his best. This is a long road for him. If you’re a Village idiot, SMBC, Manatee or Sarasota county cyclist you’ve seen or been helped by him in the past and a small donation is the least we can do to help one of our own. If you want to help him get back on his feet and working on your bike please consider donating now.

I’m reaching out to help a fellow cyclist, Craig Prather. Whether you were a customer at Ringling Bikes or Village Bikes, or just a local cyclist who was fortunate enough to ride with him, you may have run into him at some point.

Craig has genetic vascular issues and recently had a subdural hemorrhage. He was admitted to the ICU at Blake hospital and was recently transferred to Sarasota Memorial Neuro ICU, where he will be staying for the next few weeks. Funds will be used to help with medical bills and get him back on a bike. 10 years ago he had bypass surgery and was back on the bike after just 6 months where he rode 400 miles for the RAM challenge. So we know how much of a fighter he is. He has a long road ahead of him towards recovery but we know he will be back on his bike in no time at all. Funds will help defray extensive medical bills which continue to incur. Every little bit helps.
