DMC 6th Grade Overnight Camping Trip!

6th Grade students and teachers are headed to the New Hampshire AMC Mountain Classroom camping trip, where we will deepen our science learning, hike, and strengthen our community through outdoor activities. As you may remember from last year, our 6th graders who work hard and work together in the spring earn a chance to go on this overnight camping trip! Last year, we were able to take 45 students but, this year, we have an AMAZING opportunity to take ALL of our students who qualify with strong attendance, behavior and grades. 

For many of our students, this is their first time going on an overnight camping trip, hiking in the woods, seeing real waterfalls and maybe even seeing real moose (we did last year!). But... we need your help! With the cost of lodging, food, the intensive program, and buses, the costs are high but our hearts are big! Please consider making a donation to our field trip. No amount is too small! Thank you!

A little about us:
We are sixth grade students and teachers from the largest K-8 school in Boston Public Schools--The Dever-McCormack K-8! Our school values are working hard, working together, and being proud members of our school community. The students attending this camping trip fully embody our school's mission, and we are so excited to take them camping!
