Cover cancer expenses and relocation exp

Donation protected
I had a sudden diagnosis of a rapidly spreading cancer. The cancer spread so fast the doctors were very hard pressed in keeping up with it. At the onset of this cancer my wife and I were planning to move from Texas to Florida and were saving money toward that expense. I am a retired Police officer from the Prince William Co. police Department and I am disabled so as you might guess retirement funds in this day an time do not leave a lot of extra room in an already stretched budget. To make matters worse during the end of 2008 from about September until January I had been diagnosed with a very rare condition called Hepetic Pulmonary syndrome. This condition is one that slowly robs all the other organs of the oxygen they need to survive. I was called in to my transplant hospital on Sept. 1, 2008 as they had matched a donor with me after two and one half year of waiting and dragging around oxygen tanks wherever I went. So I placed my oldest. Daughter in charge of my finances while I was hospitalized . I did not know that at that time she had become addicted to rock cocaine and while I was in the hospital she began to withdraw larg amounts of money from my bank accounts.  Even getting to the point where she was taking funds sent to me by check for my home in Texas, that I had to rent out after my father asked me to return to Virginia to take care of him and his medical needs as he was having a very bad time with his health especially since my mothers death from cancer on Januuary 8, 2008. I had purchased the home in Texas to be closer to my Two sons Matthew and Jacob, who had been taken to Texas by their mother and her new husband for his new Job.

Back to to my situation while was hospitalized at Georgetown University Cancer and transplant surgery from September 2, 2008 my dayghter continued unknown by me to steal from my bank accounts and stole the checks my renters sent me during my incapcitatation due to my transplant and then again just two weeks after I had been released from the hospital I began showing unusual stroke like symptoms and I was re admitted to the hospital with a life threatening Asprgaloma in my brain that was growing unchecked because my immune system was so lo at the time until they were sure the liver transplant was working and the liver was functioning normally. That lasted until almost Christmas 2008. At this whole time I was assured that my daughter had been paying all my bills as they came due. It wasn't until my father recieved a phone call from my brother asking what he had meant when he had written in a Christmas card I hope you can use this for your Christmas. That was when my father found out my daughter had not just been stealing from me but had seen my father preparing Christmas cards for family and friend and was placing a 100 dollar billion each card. My daughter we discovered had taken a razor blade sliced opened each card, stolen the cash and then revealed and mailed the cards for my father.

I returned to Texas at Christmas on 2008 as my sons step father I found out had abused both of my sons and my ex-wife Cindy during some drinker incidents causing my ex-wife tohave to flee her home along with my sons and I had returned in time to take the boys out of that mess to have Christmas with my younger brother Jim, and his family. We returned in the second week inJanuary and since it appeared my sons would be needing a place to stay, I contacted my renter to see if it would be possible for him to leave the house earlier than our lease called for. That was the time I was advised by my very unhappy renter that he had been sent a certified letter to leave my house as it was being forclosed on by the bank. I assured him that there had to be some mistake and that I would try and fix it. I contacted the bank who was less than cordial in telling me it was too late the house was in foreclosure. So I lost my house and at the same time a Ford Explorere I had allowed my daughtertopurchase from me. I mention all this history because it brings me to having put my daughter in jail for more than a year for z12 felony counts of forgery and grand theft. That was the worse time in my life but it had to be done to get her off the drugs and to prove to her that she could not steal from her father and go unpunished by the law and it allowed her toget free of the drugs so she could understand just what pain and suffering she had caused her family.

Anyway she went to Jail and some of the money was returne but even with that I still lost all my credit that I had built up for years as a police officer and good citizen in Prince William wher I grew up. However the bank does not care why you were forclosed upon just that you were and had a car repossed. As you can Gus's by now I am pretty much placed in a cash and carry situation and or I have had to even get co-signers on car loans to this day or I can not get my own vehicle because of the mess my daughter made of my finances ruining me for most future purchases.

That brings us to today. I had been saving money to move to Florida as I am pretty much alone in Texas away from family now, except my wife Mila. Mila and I went to Florida so that I could see my grandchildren in early December, 2013. This was just after I had some minor surgery on my face to have some skin cancer removed. We had a great Tim but when we returned I noticed that the area with the skin cancer appeared to be re growing. I went back to my surgeon who stated it was rare but sometimes thes cancers can come back.Somore cancer inthe right side of my face. During the first visit tomy Grand children my wife and I decided we liked the area and that we loved being with the grandchildren and would like to move there as soon as we could. Once I had undergone the skin cancer surgery for the second time and had been proclaimed cured, we planned on returning to Florida to look for suitable housing for Mila and myself but large enough to accommodate frequent visits from the grandchildren. So we returned at Christmas and began looking for housing we found several that we liked but when I tried to getprequalified for a loan I did not qualify even on a house of just 125,000.00 of which I easily can afford the payments now and in the future based on my retirement income and current disability pay that I recieve. This was just another blow but I have found out that the three big credit scoring agencies do not really care if someone else caused you to have a home forclosed upon, even if you do everything in your power to have that person that was responsible prosecuted by the law and that they were incarcerated for their crimes. So we had started to save money each month hoping that by the time July 2014 came around we would have paid off all our other bills and be able to put at least 10,000dollars toward a home on a lease with option to buy since I can not get a mortgage to buy anyone of several homes we liked and that fit our needs with the grand children. Then disaster struck us again and while I guess I could just give up my belief in God and a strength that I have within me has never allowed me to give up. None the less the cancer that I thought was gone showed back up in January 2014, it was a lasted and cruel birthday present. However this time I showed itself to the rear of my right ear, and was growing at an unbelievably fast rate. I had an ENT look at the cancer and he wanted to do just Radiation on it then possible surgery. However with the highest rated cancer center in the Nation just 100 miles away I wanted to get a second opinion from them. I saw a team of doctors and surgeons within a week of my first call to MD Anderson Cancer Center and Hospital in Houston. They had me scheduled for surgery within two weeks and had a complete followupmplan including Rradiation Therapy. This was not a planned situation as istated and I come here asking for help and the funds to assist mebecauseforthevfirsttime inmy life I have no where else to turn. I desperately want my wife to have a home like until now she has openly imagined. She deserves the home because she has been in this Country from the Phillipines as an immigrant for the last 7 years now. During the time she has been here she has worked as a careciver to the elderly and disabled. For her first 5 years she did not take a single day off of work and got very little pay because of her status, just around $60 per day and that was for a 12 to 24 hour shift. I personally have seen her at work at her former employer and I hav never seen any one work so hard accomplishing so many tasks in one daywithno supervision. She deserves a home to call her own if anyone I know does. During my cancer we had to terminate or lease and lost over a thousand of what we have been saving and now even with insurance the savings are are being exhausted and I still have approximately 6 to 8 more weeks of treatment after which we are hoping to. Move to Florida where I can recieve my health care there as well as be close to my Grandchildren. I will be able to do this only if I recieve the funding ing I need. I have never asked anyone for help monetarily except maybe a relative and then only a short term loan so it is not easy for me to ask anyone else for help.  Thank you for the time it took you to read this letter and for whatever decision you might make in helping me get this funding I desperately need.
