Temporary Housing Near Hospital

On December 6th our sweet Aunt/Sister/Niece/Daughter/Friend Darlene Shearer was taken by helicopter to Mercy UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh in very critical condition. It was the right place for her to be, and things have been getting progressively better for her by the day! However, my grandparents, who live more than an hour and a half away, are in need of a place to stay near the hospital. We were able to locate a hotel near the hospital, that offers a very low rate of $65 a night, especially for situations such as these, but even at that rate, longterm, it obviously adds up. We are all hopeful and optimistic that Darlene's stay in the hospital will not extend more than the next month. We are asking for ANY help that you may be able to provide, to ensure that during that month, our grandparents have a comfortable place to stay.
