My dad needs help

Donation protected
Okay so my father is amazing. He also has MS. About 4 years ago he had to stop working, something he really didn't want to do, something he never ever pictured himself doing, but had to because MS made it too difficult for him. Anyone who knows my dad, knows that he is a hardworking, giving, wonderful person. Not only has this disease made it impossible for him to work, it has taken a lot of what made him who he is, pieces of him that I loved and he loved from him. He hates that he is so fatigued that just getting out of bed is difficult. His leg function had deteriorated so much that doing simple things like taking the dog for a walk or going grocery shopping have become daunting, and some days impossible tasks. He hates feeling incapable.

He has minimal insurance coverage because he has so current income or employment. He has been living off of his savings. Money he earned while working full time his whole life. Money he put away and counted on having later in life. The inability to work came much much sooner than expected and disability has not been awarded to him, even though he is one of the most deserving candidates I have ever seen. He is on his third submission with the help of a firm specializing in disability. Asked and we are waiting to hear back in April. We are praying for this disability people, but until then, he is pulling and pulling money from what should've been a retirement fund for later in life. He did the all the right things but unfortunately Multiple sclerosis took all that proper planning away.

He has been using that money to support himself and get by scrimping where he can. However, there have been a series of events that have taken place in which he needed to use more. There were care issues, house repairs etc that were completely unexpected.

The other three most unfortunate events that are completely heartbreaking for my dad and our family have involve our pets. Our pets are my dads family. They are no different than his kids. So when our golden was hit by a car and need surgery and rehab equipment and medications. He took care of it all. Thousands of dollars later, unfortunately, the events didn't stop there. Our other family dog became ill and so there were numerous vet visits and medications for her and then when nothing worked, she had to be put out of her misery; again amounting to thousands of dollars out of pocket. And lastly, another terrible event. My dads cat just became so ill today, he was hypothermic and becoming septic because can't relieve himself and it doesn't look good. The vet is doing everything they can and hopefully he will make a full recovery but again: More thousands of dollars gone. My dad would do and has done anything for me and our family, including our pet siblings, and If I had the means I would do the same for him. Unfortunately I can only help with the small things.

So please, please give/do anything you can to help my dad through what has been such a series of unfortunate events. He hates asking for help and even worse accepting it. But this time he needs it desperately so I am asking for him.
