YOU CAN BRING HOPE AND COMFORT TO SICK AND DISABLED CHILDREN IN A SPECIAL ORPHANAGE IN CHINA

"A dream and a desire I've had for over 20 years is now possible ... I can bring love and hope and comfort to little kids who are neglected and abandoned. It's a calling I know I'm meant to do."
     — Zac Csikesz

This GoFundMe page is established by family and friends of Zachary Csikesz to give all of us the opportunity to support him in bringing the love of God across the world to little neglected and abandoned kids in China.  Using his huge heart and special skills with kids, he will get to show them just how special they truly are.  And at the same time, realize his own purpose and calling he's spent many years searching for.

Here's the back story . . .

Several months ago Zac's brother Sandor, and his 12-year-old nephew, Donovan, spent 10 days on a missions trip in China with the organization Show Hope, founded by Stephen Curtis Chapman in honor of his Chinese adopted daughter Maria, after her untimely death. There they brought their hearts of compassion and their building skills to an orphanage with a primary purpose to do construction improvement projects all around the facility, and spend quality time with the kids.

This special orphanage, Maria's Big House of Hope, takes in little children from infancy on who have serious medical problems, and who are disabled and handicapped. Many were abandoned in the streets and other state orphanages cannot take care of them due to their extreme medical problems or physical and mental deformities, and it’s difficult to find people willing to adopt kids with such serious problems.

When Zac saw some of the videos and pictures Sandor brought back, he knew he had to be a part of the next trip.

"When I saw rooms with so many babies and toddlers and 6-year-old children laying on the floor, wide awake but unable to even sit up or walk, and my brother lying down on the floor next to some of them...touching their faces, stroking their hair, and the kids giggling and smiling with delight... well, it was like a light bulb went off in my head.  To be able to put aside all the rat race busyness of life and all the stuff we do for ourselves, and to go there and make even one kid with such special needs feel important and loved and special... what can I say — I knew at that moment watching the videos that I had found the meaning and purpose I've been looking for over 20 years. Like a calling I've had on me, but never really figured out what that strong desire was all about.  I've known for so long that I wanted to use my life to bring hope and comfort to those who are neglected. But I guess we're all too self-centered, and I never made that dream come true and did something about it.  Until now.  When I saw these pictures of these kids with such terrible afflictions, many of whom may not even live long enough to be adopted, there was not one doubt in my mind. I HAVE TO FIND A WAY to go over there and give them hope and comfort, to show them that they matter and are special."

Not only will Zac be able to take all that compassion and love to these precious little ones, but when he goes to that orphanage in April 2019, he, Sandor, and Donovan will bring all the construction skills they learned during their growing-up years under the tutoring of their father, Emery. They will be able to help in a variety of construction projects like building play areas, bunk beds, and needed repairs to the orphanage.

LET'S JOIN TOGETHER TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN FOR ZAC AND FOR THEM!

Would you pray about this, asking the Lord how He would have you contribute to Zac's trip? And to join him as ground support, praying for all the others he will be traveling with, to prepare the hearts of the children, cover them with grace and protection, and that God uses them all in mighty ways, so as He says, "The love of Christ is poured out through our hearts..."  He needs our help to do it!

He is hoping to gather all his financial support by December 2018.

Thank you in advance for all you will do to make not only Zac's dreams come true, but to cause these special and precious little ones know that, yes, they are loved and that someone really does cares about them.   Any additional funds over the amount needed for this trip will go toward future mission trips that Zac is already planning.

God bless you!  To God be all the glory!
