Our beloved Leeban sustained a brain injury causing him to be comatose for over a year. It pains us to say that after a long and courageous battle, Leeban passed away on April 14, 2014 at the tender age of 25. As a community we would like to join his family in building a well and a school in his honor.
The family has already begun the process of building a well and school in Erigavo an underdeveloped region in Somalia, where many people can benefit from these resources. The well in Erigavo needs reparing and there are other water projects she would like to work on in different areas of Somalia, like Mogadishu. They are extending the opportunity to help with their efforts to anyone who would like to do something for him or his family or even to those just looking for an opportunity to give back.
All proceeds will go directly to the families in Erigavo. This charity will benefit you as the donor, the children and community members receiving these resources, and Leeban by keeping his memory alive.
